Dental Hygienist
Blake earned a bachelors degree in Health and Wellness Promotion from UNC Asheville and an Associates in Dental Hygiene from Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College. In August 2019, Blake joined the Pope Family Dentistry Team as a full time hygienist. Blake has a passion for working with people and building lasting relationships with her patients. She aims to support her patients in optimizing their oral health, while also creating a friendly and trusting dental environment. In her free time, Blake enjoys spending time rock climbing and traveling with her husband, Jason, and their Shih Tzu, Oscar.
Dental Hygienist
Diann first discovered her love of dentistry while serving in the US Army Dental Corps. She continued her education in Pensacola, Florida where she received a dental hygiene degree and a bachelor’s in education in anticipation of teaching college level Dental Hygiene. She decided that she enjoyed clinical practice the most. It was very rewarding to educate patients and help them have healthy, attractive smiles. Diann has been at this dental practice for several decades. She is excited to continue to learn about and see the advanced technology and dental procedures that are practiced here. She is happy that she is able to continue to provide the best of care for all our patients, whether new or lifelong.
Dental Hygienist
Isa began her career in dentistry in 2019, working at the front desk, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and office operations. She went on to earn her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College. She is passionate about preventative dentistry and is committed to educating her patients while building meaningful, long-term relationships. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she takes pride in serving the Hispanic community and making dental care more accessible to all. Outside of the office, Isa enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Brandyn, their daughter, Mia, and their three poodle-mix dogs—Gunther, Oso, and Jake.
Dental Hygienist
Laura is a dedicated dental hygienist with a diverse professional background spanning marketing, advertising and design, higher education, and clinical dental care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and began her career in advertising and design for a global pharmaceutical company. Her early work in the healthcare industry sparked a deeper interest in patient wellness, ultimately inspiring her to pursue an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. With over two decades of experience as a practicing dental hygienist, Laura has developed a strong foundation in preventive care and patient advocacy. Her passion for oral health education led her to step away from clinical practice temporarily to teach dental hygiene at Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC), where she helped prepare future clinicians for successful careers in the field. She later returned to clinical practice, bringing with her a renewed commitment to patient-centered care. Laura is particularly passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene and the vital connection between oral bacteria and overall systemic health. She is dedicated to helping individuals understand how preventive dental care contributes to long-term wellness. Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Amy has spent over 20 years as a Dental Assistant, where her passion for dentistry and technology thrives perfectly. She believes in the power of a bright smile, both in her professional and personal life. She is very grateful to work with Dr. William Pope and his truly caring and dedicated team. She has been happily married for over 22 years and is a proud mom of three incredible, interesting kids. Balancing family life with her love for dental innovation keeps her sharp and inspired every day!
Front Office Administrator
Melinda started dental assisting in 2005 after completing the Dental Assisting program at Forsyth Tech. She has been with this practice since 2017, working as a dental assistant and front office administrator. She enjoys getting to know her patients and building a close rapport with them. When Melinda is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
